Vintage Masonic Knights Templar Brass Arm & Hammer Door Knocker See Photos/Notes

Description

The item measures approximately 7.5 inches long and 5 inches wide with a maximum depth of roughly 1.75 inches. It weights roughly 1.75 lbs. The metal composition is solid brass, depicting a Knights Templar themed motif (a Middle Ages religious-military order later commemorated by secret fraternal orders such as Freemasonry). The surface of it has visible patina in some areas as well as several noticeable blue-greenish oxidation spots - particularly one on the outer side rim and one on the backside of it. This item is front mounting (necessary hardware not included). There are 2 mounting holes on the reverse side. Please be mindful of this mounting and installation configuration and whatever work will be required in order to make this door knocker a useable decorative piece before purchasing.
